Welcome on this blog full of information about British comics and offcourse the comics.
A British comic is a periodical published in the United Kingdom that contains comic strips. It is generally referred to as a comic or a comic magazine, and historically as a comic paper.
British comics are usually comics anthologies which are typically aimed at children, and are published weekly, although some are also published on a fortnightly or monthly schedule. The top three longest-running comics in the world, The Dandy, The Beano, and Comic Cuts, are all British, although in modern times British comics have been largely superseded by American comic books and Japanese manga.
You can access the information and comics through the sidebar.
The comics are mostly in packages from around 100mb, inside these rar-packages you will find the comics in cbr format.
There are no DC Thomson related comics on the site, because i had to remove these.
You can view the comics with any cbr-reader like CDisplay or ComicRack.
Most comics are from the 50’s-80’s with some 90’s.
I only place issues from last century,
so no issues newer than the year 1999.
I did not scan the comics myself only collect them from various sites on the internet, internet archive, Usenet Newsgroups and torrents.
So thanks to all the scanners and uploaders.
This blog is purely ment to preserve the comics and to enjoy them, no financial meanings are involved, if you like the comics buy them as long as they are availabe, because nothing can beat the feeling of reading a real comic.
If you find something wrong (downloads, numbering, information) please let me know so that i can correct the error.
Thanks to the following sites for the information :

I’ve reorganized the page from Judy. There are new annuals to download also, large files mostly between 150 and 200 mb. And 8 new regular issues but those will also be in the update later this week or in the weekend, so you don’t have to search through the page for regular issues you don’t have. They will be numbered and dated so you can see for yourself if you want to keep them numbered or dated, or both.

In Avengers No. 50 it jumps from page 13 to page 35. A big thankyou for all your hard work.

Thanks for letting me know, but it’s not really a big gap, this page 35 is in the wrong place, page 13 and after that 35 and after that 15,16 and so on, so page 14 is missing only, probably an adspage because the stories are complete as far as i can tell. You can eventually unpack the cbr and number that page 35 correctly.

Yes, you’re correct boutje. page 35 and the advert on page 14 simply got mixed up by the original scanner.
It’s just a matter of unraring the .cbr file, re-naming those two pages and compiling them into a .cbr again ( as I have done đ )

As you probably noticed i started re reorganizing the organized pages like Beano and Dandy, and organized pages like June, Judy, Look and Learn and Knockout. My intention is to organize all pages this way, separated in years and months so every title will have the same organizing and with dates for most of them instead of numbering.
Exceptions like for the 1st serie Eagle that are better known as v1-v20, but i will split these also in separate months for each year keeping them numbered like they are.
It’s a big task but i hope to have a good progression made at the end of the year.
At the same time i get rid of all Adrive- and Megalinks that aren’t working anymore and all updates on the pages, what can make them pretty messy and unclear sometimes.
For the future, beginning next update, i will make 1 page for each update, like i am doing right now fow the organized pages, where you will find all updates and keep that page alive for 2 months or so and, all titles will be in separate packs offcourse like they are now, so you only have to download what you want.
Offcourse i will still list all updates in a comment so you know what to expect.
I will place all these new updates on the organized pages also, but at the place where they belong and not at the top of the page as a new update like now, not always right away, depending if the title is organized allready and the amount of issues that are in the update.

Itâs ok now! I tried again with a different web browser and it worked. Then tried again the other web browser that did not work and it had the problem again. It is the server browser thatâs the problem, your links are working okay.

Thanks for letting me know, this way maybe i can help others in the future that have the same problem, it can be caused by the browser.
