Welcome on this blog full of information about British comics and offcourse the comics.
A British comic is a periodical published in the United Kingdom that contains comic strips. It is generally referred to as a comic or a comic magazine, and historically as a comic paper.
British comics are usually comics anthologies which are typically aimed at children, and are published weekly, although some are also published on a fortnightly or monthly schedule. The top three longest-running comics in the world, The Dandy, The Beano, and Comic Cuts, are all British, although in modern times British comics have been largely superseded by American comic books and Japanese manga.
You can access the information and comics through the sidebar.
The comics are mostly in packages from around 100mb, inside these rar-packages you will find the comics in cbr format.
There are no DC Thomson related comics on the site, because i had to remove these.
You can view the comics with any cbr-reader like CDisplay or ComicRack.
Most comics are from the 50’s-80’s with some 90’s.
I only place issues from last century,
so no issues newer than the year 1999.
I did not scan the comics myself only collect them from various sites on the internet, internet archive, Usenet Newsgroups and torrents.
So thanks to all the scanners and uploaders.
This blog is purely ment to preserve the comics and to enjoy them, no financial meanings are involved, if you like the comics buy them as long as they are availabe, because nothing can beat the feeling of reading a real comic.
If you find something wrong (downloads, numbering, information) please let me know so that i can correct the error.
Thanks to the following sites for the information :

I’ve updated most of my other blogs also, in the Underground Comix Blog are some British titles from Harrier, i think they fit better there.

I can’t find one myself, but perhaps that is because i have an account. I like to see how that works for free users.

Great quality, seems to me. I have the complete run of Galaxy and many If, in case you miss them. And also the other Mad magazine. Can they interest you?
LikeLike
Thanks, i have 166 issues Galaxy 1950-1969 and 141 issues If 1952-1969, so i guess there must be some missing issues here and there. 1969 will be the last year that i place magazines from on this blog.
You mean the Mad that is on my underground and alternative comics blog ? I have issue 1-365 on that blog, on this blog 1999 is the closing year, just like this and most other blogs.

Yes, I mean Mad onthat blog. Only today I took a deep look there, discovering endless wonders. The only flaw is the lack of an index (indeed, now it would be necessary forthe whole site). So I don’t know for sure if you miss these items: HarveyKurtzman’s Jungle Book and Strange Adventures and the EC magazine Panic.

Thanks. Jungle Book i don’t have, Panic only the 1st issues 1958-07, Strange Adventures i have 1-244.

In answer to your question about the Analog files. Really fast. Only one was corrupt, that is number 03, with issue inside dated 1961-08. The other 3 files inside able to extract, except the one mentioned by date. However, a little secret, with Winrar, when open file, if you go to select Tools and then select repair archive, it rebuilds the whole Winrar and fixes the corrupt file and able to extract after.

Thanks, that happens sometimes with up- or downlading, a kind of a hickup that makes a file corrupt. Most rar errors can be repaired indeed.

I saw the Blue Peter Video. Ha Ha! I agree with you that it is a funny way to organize comics. Anyway, the better way to organize Comics is to have them on your Comic Blog.
Talking of Comics, I prepared 17 Complete Comic Collections for you, I believe that you do not have any of them at all. So this should give you plenty fresh ones. Possibly most will help you create a new Blog Page. Eleven Complete Collections are from one Comic Company. The other Six from various Comic Companies. I have plenty more surprises for you yet. It will be quite awhile from time to time to upload you Complete Comic Collections, as I have plenty. Do not worry, you will not run out of Comics to be Uploaded to you. I will have plenty for quite awhile to assist you, more then 20 years worth of Comics, over 9 million Comics, including Annuals and specials, plus still preparing Date and Numbering Guides for you. So there always be something for you.

In my next future I see: to complete almost the first 60 stories of Garth;
then I have the first 15 years of Wash Tubbs daily; after, there is Romeo Brown (almost complete); many stories of paul Temple (these very good); And ALL THE RUN OF THE SPIRIT (lessing only 5 sections of 645) with the dailies. And many others things collected along the years. So much to do and so little free time!

I have managed to collect all America silver & bronze age Marvel titles but I’m having difficulty completing UK titles such as “The Titans” & “Rampage ( starring the daring defenders)” “Dracula Lives Weekly” “The Super-Heroes” & “The Mighty World Of Marvel ”
Thanks in advance for any help.
