Welcome on this blog full of information about British comics and offcourse the comics.
A British comic is a periodical published in the United Kingdom that contains comic strips. It is generally referred to as a comic or a comic magazine, and historically as a comic paper.
British comics are usually comics anthologies which are typically aimed at children, and are published weekly, although some are also published on a fortnightly or monthly schedule. The top three longest-running comics in the world, The Dandy, The Beano, and Comic Cuts, are all British, although in modern times British comics have been largely superseded by American comic books and Japanese manga.
You can access the information and comics through the sidebar.
The comics are mostly in packages from around 100mb, inside these rar-packages you will find the comics in cbr format.
There are no DC Thomson related comics on the site, because i had to remove these.
You can view the comics with any cbr-reader like CDisplay or ComicRack.
Most comics are from the 50’s-80’s with some 90’s.
I only place issues from last century,
so no issues newer than the year 1999.
I did not scan the comics myself only collect them from various sites on the internet, internet archive, Usenet Newsgroups and torrents.
So thanks to all the scanners and uploaders.
This blog is purely ment to preserve the comics and to enjoy them, no financial meanings are involved, if you like the comics buy them as long as they are availabe, because nothing can beat the feeling of reading a real comic.
If you find something wrong (downloads, numbering, information) please let me know so that i can correct the error.
Thanks to the following sites for the information :

The “Guinness Who’s Who” marked 1984a is actually from 1987, and 1984b (the 8th edition) from 1994.
A book on a rugby club, Northampton FC (not to be confused with Northampton Town) has also snuck in.

So, finally someone got around to ripping football books from the Internet Archive (albeit using the compressed-pictures-but-with-OCR method), and I’ve added not a few titles to my already impressive collection – I don’t see how I could have missed them, thanks.

Here’s a link to a few bits and pieces to plug some gaps in issues and compilations:
https://wetransfer.com/downloads/c1d073ff2020d6a2d6aecef4ff7033db20230826083336/b00e01aabc2721d80b159d5e4ad2cbeb20230826083404/234620
(The link should be live for about a week.)
First, there are unedited scans of the four centre pages of Lion for 18 October 1958, which are missing from the current version on this site. These are pages of Bruce Kent (Spot the Clue), Captain Condor and Robot Archie (or “Archie the Robot” as he was back then).
Second, a compilation of the 15 episodes of Supercats that ran in Debbie in early 1978 after Spellbound was cancelled. That’s 3 one-off episodes (presumably left over from Spellbound) plus the long serial ‘Princess in Peril’. The Supercats entry in the Spellbound section of the compilations site doesn’t include any of these yet.
Third, sticking with compilations, I’ve noticed that various of these in the Champ compilation section are missing the instalments for Issue 65. Here are scans of the missing comics pages (not of the comic in its entirety because its a DCT one): Blue Hawk One, Kids Rule OK, The Sinister World of Mr Pendragon and We Are United, plus Dennis the Menace’s Fun Section including episodes of I Spy and Puss n Boots. Hopefully these will help anyone looking to complete their collections!
(Incidentally, the page for Champ’s Kids Rule OK in the compilations site could stand rewriting. It’s got a description of the unrelated and very different strip of the same name that appeared in IPC’s Action in 1976!: https://britishcomicscompilations.wordpress.com/2017/12/21/kids-rule-ok/)
