Welcome on this blog full of information about British comics and offcourse the comics.
A British comic is a periodical published in the United Kingdom that contains comic strips. It is generally referred to as a comic or a comic magazine, and historically as a comic paper.
British comics are usually comics anthologies which are typically aimed at children, and are published weekly, although some are also published on a fortnightly or monthly schedule. The top three longest-running comics in the world, The Dandy, The Beano, and Comic Cuts, are all British, although in modern times British comics have been largely superseded by American comic books and Japanese manga.
You can access the information and comics through the sidebar.
The comics are mostly in packages from around 100mb, inside these rar-packages you will find the comics in cbr format.
There are no DC Thomson related comics on the site, because i had to remove these.
You can view the comics with any cbr-reader like CDisplay or ComicRack.
Most comics are from the 50’s-80’s with some 90’s.
I only place issues from last century,
so no issues newer than the year 1999.
I did not scan the comics myself only collect them from various sites on the internet, internet archive, Usenet Newsgroups and torrents.
So thanks to all the scanners and uploaders.
This blog is purely ment to preserve the comics and to enjoy them, no financial meanings are involved, if you like the comics buy them as long as they are availabe, because nothing can beat the feeling of reading a real comic.
If you find something wrong (downloads, numbering, information) please let me know so that i can correct the error.
Thanks to the following sites for the information :

Libgen can be accessed using a vpn. Opera, for instance, has a vpn built in. But even then there are times when libgen just isn’t available.

The other real problem of Libigen is the tortuosity. It’is a maze made of mazes. It contains a lot of material, updated continuously, but find it sometimes can be very complicated.

It’s a maze indeed, but it can be very rewarding when you turn the right way in all these turns. Just this weekend i found another 300+ issues that are missing on this blog,

Most scans are great but some of the IPC Spellbound have been done by the “scanner”(?) that does those wobbly double page photos(?) It would be best if they refrained tbh or the comics will be considered done (like E.C. and those dreadful reprints).

Hello Andy.
Page 51 on the Hurricane Annual 1969 isn’t missing i believe, it’s the last page of the Typhoon Tracy story. All together there must be 157 pages.
LikeLike
actually the last page of the typhoon tracy story is not there, as you number the pages wrong by one page, as the book should have 158 pages

This weekend i am going to merge and revise the Battle issues into 1 more logical page
and correct numbering with all the issues i have from Battle Picture Weekly, Battle Picture Weekly and Valiant, Battle, Battle Action and Battle Action Force, (Battle Action Storm Force that is planned for the next update). All 664 issues belongs in fact together.
Great suggestion from Leegs.

Marvel Comics also produced a comic called Battle of 70 issues from 1951-1960. Late I will upload you the complete collection. When it is ready I will let you know. This is not to be confused with the other Battle collection that you have already. It is a different collection.

Thanks, it’s not the Battle collection from Atlas/Marvel on my Army and War Blog ?

I just checked your blog on Army and war blog, and yes your right. I did not know you even had another blog with it there. Saves me to upload for you. Never mind. But, one little correction, inside on page 2 of each comic it says the publisher is not Marvel or Atlas but Foto Parade, Inc. Hope that is helpful to you.

Better check all my blogs for what i allready have and is suitable for a blog to save you unnecessary work. There is not much information about Foto Parade, i think it was Atlas Foto Parade for awhile and later just Atlas.

Okay. Sometimes, Comics change publishers. It gets confusing some times.

The print version of Hurricane Annual 1969 consisted of 160 pages. The scan only has 157 pages (jpgs) because there are three double page scans. Page 51 is there as Boutje advises. It is the last page of the Typhoon Tracy story as it states ‘The End” in the final panel. Hope that helps.

I am uploading a Comic List of publishers that will help. I think it will be cool if you organized all your various comics by publishers. For example Dandy, Beano, Beezer under dc Thomson compilation blog. Shiver and shake, whizzer and chips, whoopee under fleetway, Ipc magazines blog. What do you think ?

Yes that could be a better way to organize the comics, perhaps in the future when i have some more time at hand when almost all comics that there could be found are present on the blog, at this time i have enough to do allready.

I will make you a list of all comics with each publisher to make easy for you. I have already made most of it already with that in mind. I let you know more when it is ready. Also I will send you later a date and numbering guide for battle, as it is nearly ready. At present I am uploading 65 Lucky Luke books for you. I made them smaller files, so it be quicker to upload. I am learning to be a little more efficient with time. Glad to be of assistance to you.
