Welcome on this blog full of information about British comics and offcourse the comics.
A British comic is a periodical published in the United Kingdom that contains comic strips. It is generally referred to as a comic or a comic magazine, and historically as a comic paper.
British comics are usually comics anthologies which are typically aimed at children, and are published weekly, although some are also published on a fortnightly or monthly schedule. The top three longest-running comics in the world, The Dandy, The Beano, and Comic Cuts, are all British, although in modern times British comics have been largely superseded by American comic books and Japanese manga.
You can access the information and comics through the sidebar.
The comics are mostly in packages from around 100mb, inside these rar-packages you will find the comics in cbr format.
There are no DC Thomson related comics on the site, because i had to remove these.
You can view the comics with any cbr-reader like CDisplay or ComicRack.
Most comics are from the 50’s-80’s with some 90’s.
I only place issues from last century,
so no issues newer than the year 1999.
I did not scan the comics myself only collect them from various sites on the internet, internet archive, Usenet Newsgroups and torrents.
So thanks to all the scanners and uploaders.
This blog is purely ment to preserve the comics and to enjoy them, no financial meanings are involved, if you like the comics buy them as long as they are availabe, because nothing can beat the feeling of reading a real comic.
If you find something wrong (downloads, numbering, information) please let me know so that i can correct the error.
Thanks to the following sites for the information :

Good morning. I write from Italy. Can you tell me if the American comic ‘Roy Rogers’ was released in the UK? Thank you very much.

Yes, according to the GCD, mostly by World Distributors in the 50s.

Could you be a bit more specific? I assume you mean British reprints of US stories? There were without doubt some of them: It was the longest running US-reprint Western series of World Distributors AKA Pembertons in the UK (100 issues and 12 annuals)…

I am thinking to move the Picture Libraries from Pulp and Old Magazines to this blog onto a special Picture Library page, i think Picture Libraries are something that is specific for the UK. After that also the British related books like Billy and Bessy Bunter, Tom Merry, Sparshott into the Magazines and Books page.

Hello, I am looking for two UK comic stories with no titles, only descriptions, first from the 1970’s, tourist family shrunk to toy size in Russia & chased by the authorities, they travel in a toy caravan pulled by puppies (size of Clydesdale horses) the other from the 1980’s, an astronaut lands on an alien planet, hurts an alien lifeform, creature shrinks him & he must survive the dangers of the planet & find the creature to return to normal size. I would like to find out what they were called & read them again.
Many thanks.

Was it “Dangerous Days for the Tiny Taylors”?

I have that already, the family in Tiny Taylor’s was shrunk by accident on a remote UK island, the story was set in Russia with the family chased by the authorities, I remember they were riding the toy caravan towards a checkpoint that lead to safety, the father was knocked out by a giant boy throwing a stone & the out of control caravan pulled by puppies headed towards a group of Russian soldiers.

A bloke called ‘Fearmint’ on another blog reckons your shrinking astronaut story could be “Loner” from the 1989 comic “Wildcat” … the shrinking story started in issue #8

unaware if it’s even of any interest but I’ve found this amongst my books and I figured someone might be interested. I haven’t a clue about it’s history or what series or publication it belongs to. I’m also scanning various dr who annuals over the weekend. I’ll posted them up if I see ones that follow the vibe of the site https://www.mediafire.com/file/3s3zvande6n7hh9/TV_Crimebusters_Annual_1962.cbr/file

I already have two scans of The Amazing World Of Dr Who (not my scans). It was part of a Typhoo Tea promotion that involved tea cards, a poster and the book.
