Welcome on this blog full of information about British comics and offcourse the comics.
A British comic is a periodical published in the United Kingdom that contains comic strips. It is generally referred to as a comic or a comic magazine, and historically as a comic paper.
British comics are usually comics anthologies which are typically aimed at children, and are published weekly, although some are also published on a fortnightly or monthly schedule. The top three longest-running comics in the world, The Dandy, The Beano, and Comic Cuts, are all British, although in modern times British comics have been largely superseded by American comic books and Japanese manga.
You can access the information and comics through the sidebar.
The comics are mostly in packages from around 100mb, inside these rar-packages you will find the comics in cbr format.
There are no DC Thomson related comics on the site, because i had to remove these.
You can view the comics with any cbr-reader like CDisplay or ComicRack.
Most comics are from the 50’s-80’s with some 90’s.
I only place issues from last century,
so no issues newer than the year 1999.
I did not scan the comics myself only collect them from various sites on the internet, internet archive, Usenet Newsgroups and torrents.
So thanks to all the scanners and uploaders.
This blog is purely ment to preserve the comics and to enjoy them, no financial meanings are involved, if you like the comics buy them as long as they are availabe, because nothing can beat the feeling of reading a real comic.
If you find something wrong (downloads, numbering, information) please let me know so that i can correct the error.
Thanks to the following sites for the information :

Champ was a weekly comic published by DC Thomson from 1984 to 1985. To date, it’s been the last weekly boy’s comic from the publisher.[1] One of its strips, “We Are United”, featured characters from other DC Thomson publications, including Charlie “Iron” Barr from Spike and ‘Limp-Along’ Leslie.[2] Another feature was entitled “Dennis the Menace’s Fun Section”; this consisted of reprints from other comics.[3]
In May 1984 Spike merged into Champ; in October 1985 Champ itself merged into Victor.

Unfortunately Champ, like all other DC Thomson titles, are not allowed on the site, by DC Thomson’s request.

There is possibly an UK issue 2 but no issue 3 as the Software company . Found this on another site concerning issue 2 and 3:
QUESTPROBE ISSUE 2 mini-comic (Marvel UK). From 1984: Another unsung oddity from the MARVEL UK pantheon… The A5 second (and probably final) British issue of QUESTPROBE.
This follow-up looks like it was produced specifically as an in-pack item for the game and not sold separately.
It promises the FANTASTIC FOUR in the third issue but, because Marvel’s partner, Scott Adams, went out of business the following year its unlikely to have ever appeared on this side of the Atlantic. The third issue, which actually starred just the Thing and the Human Torch, did see print in the States.
The fourth US issue was scuppered by the bankruptcy but Marvel eventually reworked it for MARVEL FANFARE 33 in 1987.

Just a quick question regarding the scans of MWOM #147 and MWOM 148.
I have just read MWOM #147 and the FF story ends on page 34 with ‘continued next week’ , but page 35 is a last page of a FF story which ends with ‘the coming of the Psycho-Man’. Page 35 appears to be the last page of the FF story that was printed in MOWM #148 (which this page is missing from the story).
Looking at the dates of the scans the issues appear to be scanned a year apart and, as I do not have the original comics, I cannot check if they scans are incorrect but I’m thinking that this is an printing error.
Can anyone confirm?

You are correct, Gaz.
I just checked and the MWOM issues 147 & 148 and the FF stories are completely muddled up.
Here is the correct order = https://www.mediafire.com/file/j6ktlnjhaskgn3n/MWOM+147+&+148.cbz/file

Page 12 appears to have been drawn exclusively for the UK MWOM issue
(I’ve put it as page 12 as it seems the logically place for it to be)

The story originally appeared in the American FF Annual #5 (Nov. 1967) was later reprinted in the American FF Giant Size #5 (May 1975)

Lee,
Thanks for the response and combined FF story.
Looks like Marvel UK reedited the FF annual in a different page order to fit the pacing of the story across 3-4 issues. Probably would not noticed if not for the printing error in issue 147.
At least the editing was not as blatant as Planet Of The Apes #1 where some words were removed but the speech bubbles remained – with one speech bubble left empty. Although, the words did reappear when the story was printed again in POTA #96
