Welcome on this blog full of information about British comics and offcourse the comics.
A British comic is a periodical published in the United Kingdom that contains comic strips. It is generally referred to as a comic or a comic magazine, and historically as a comic paper.
British comics are usually comics anthologies which are typically aimed at children, and are published weekly, although some are also published on a fortnightly or monthly schedule. The top three longest-running comics in the world, The Dandy, The Beano, and Comic Cuts, are all British, although in modern times British comics have been largely superseded by American comic books and Japanese manga.
You can access the information and comics through the sidebar.
The comics are mostly in packages from around 100mb, inside these rar-packages you will find the comics in cbr format.
There are no DC Thomson related comics on the site, because i had to remove these.
You can view the comics with any cbr-reader like CDisplay or ComicRack.
Most comics are from the 50’s-80’s with some 90’s.
I only place issues from last century,
so no issues newer than the year 1999.
I did not scan the comics myself only collect them from various sites on the internet, internet archive, Usenet Newsgroups and torrents.
So thanks to all the scanners and uploaders.
This blog is purely ment to preserve the comics and to enjoy them, no financial meanings are involved, if you like the comics buy them as long as they are availabe, because nothing can beat the feeling of reading a real comic.
If you find something wrong (downloads, numbering, information) please let me know so that i can correct the error.
Thanks to the following sites for the information :

Thank you very much, i always wanted to be Dracula when i was a little boy, i don’t know why, perhaps the biting in a young woman’s neck attracted me. Perhaps i will be someday, you never know.

Hi all!
I know that some comics were taken down due to a DMCA, but if anyone has any hints on how to get hold of Nutty (from the 80s), I’d be eternally grateful 🙂

Hello boutje, thanks again for your continuous work
I have noticed that the Trigan pages in Vulcan v210 1979-09-29 are the same already published in Vulcan v202 1979-08-04 (LkLn792 and 793).
Probably a typo in its time…
Best regards

You are welcome. Keep in mind that those Vulcan’s are not official ones but they are homemade, perhaps something is overlooked or i missed a later upgrade.

Oink! Sample comic that came in Crash Magazine, was from Crash magazine number 42.
Crash was a magazine dedicated to the ZX Spectrum home computer. It was published from 1984 to 1991 by Newsfield Publications Ltd until their liquidation, and then until 1992 by Europress. Crash was initially launched in 1983 by Roger Kean, Oliver Frey and Franco Frey as a mail order software catalogue that included several pages of reviews. It then launched as a magazine in February 1984, maintaining its focus squarely on Spectrum gaming (unlike its competitors, which tended to feature more serious technical coverage). Kean and the Frey brothers would continue to be involved with the magazine throughout its lifetime.

Hi
I was just looking through some isses of Tiger & Speed, as Speed was one of my favourite comics as a kid. I still have both annuals. Tiger dated 29th August 1981 as Death Wish on the cover. At the bottom it says continued on next page, however there are 2 pages of the File of Fame story and the Death Wish pages are absent. I just thought I would let you know. Thanks for all your hard work.
