Welcome on this blog full of information about British comics and offcourse the comics.

A British comic is a periodical published in the United Kingdom that contains comic strips. It is generally referred to as a comic or a comic magazine, and historically as a comic paper.

British comics are usually comics anthologies which are typically aimed at children, and are published weekly, although some are also published on a fortnightly or monthly schedule. The top three longest-running comics in the world, The Dandy, The Beano, and Comic Cuts, are all British, although in modern times British comics have been largely superseded by American comic books and Japanese manga.

You can access the information and comics through the sidebar.
The comics are mostly in packages from around 100mb, inside these rar-packages you will find the comics in cbr format.dandare

There are no DC Thomson related comics on the site, because i had to remove these.

You can view the comics with any cbr-reader like CDisplay or ComicRack.

Most comics are from the 50’s-80’s with some 90’s.

I only place issues from last century,
so no issues newer than the year 1999.

I did not scan the comics myself only collect them from various sites on the internet, internet archive, Usenet Newsgroups and torrents.
So thanks to all the scanners and uploaders.

This blog is purely ment to preserve the comics and to enjoy them, no financial meanings are involved, if you like the comics buy them as long as they are availabe, because nothing can beat the feeling of reading a real comic.

If you find something wrong (downloads, numbering, information) please let me know so that i can correct the error.

Hmm – Links still work fine for me – but I had to paste them into a window rather than click on them. They’re on the UK Print Archive website – has quite a few comics on offer.

Let me know if you can’t get to them by copying the link and I’ll see if I can copy them somewhere else.

I got a Buster date and numbering guide, and I tick off everything that you have on your website, including previous ones that stephen I upload to you.

Checked the whole uk print archive of every buster comic on that site, and everything on my date and numbering guide shows you have all from that site as well as much more.

No need to worry about it.

I check from time to time, to make sure you do not miss anything from that site.

Also, I have no problem to download the links on the uk print archive, do not need to copy link and paste.

If there is any specific Buster comic that you need from that site that you cannot get for whatever reason, let me know date of buster comic, and I get it for you in future.

      • Are the 2018 updates of Film Fun with all the comedian comics removed? I was looking because 1. I would like to download them and 2. I may have a couple you don’t have from that period, that I can scan and contribute.

      Hi
I seem to be having a problem downloading from the MEGA.NZ links.
I have just tried to download this issue of Buster. However, all I get is a page telling me that my browser seems a little outdated and advising me to update to the latest version or switch to a recommended browser. It then provides a list of recommended browsers that fully support MEGA’s advanced HTML5 functionality (what!!!). I still use Windows Vista (yes, I did say Vista) and have always used Firefox and Chrome. However, I can no longer get the latest version of these browsers as Vista is no longer supported. As a last resort I tried the Opera browser but ran into the same problem. I am wondering if having Windows Vista means that I can no longer download from MEGA.NZ links. Can anyone offer any advice on this problem. Please note that I am not having any problems with Mediafire or Stack.

That is a problem indeed, i still use Windows7, i sometimes encounter issues with some websites that won’t open properly, in these cases i use the Tor Browser only for these pages and 90% of these website opens with Tor, perhaps it will help you also.

          Hi Boutje

I tried the Tor browser. Unfortunately, the Tor browser requires at least Windows 7. I guess I will just have to wait for your updates as long as you don’t use MEGA.NZ links as well.

That is a pity, no i still don’t use Mega for uploading, but since my Stack is almost full there will be Mediafire and Googledrive links for most future updates.

      • I had this problem with Mega. It’s a browser issue — they objected to me using Firefox 52 with their site.

I’m running Windows 7. My solution was to obtain a portable version of Firefox, which I only use for that one website. Because this portable browser doesn’t need installing, my normal browser is not affected and I can still use it as usual.

I found Firefox portable, version 65, here –
