“The Gem” was a British story paper, the companion paper to the more famous “The Magnet”. It was published first fortnightly then weekly in the United Kingdom by The Amalgamated Press, running from February 1907 to December 1939 for a total of 1711 issues, when it was then incorporated into “The Nelson Lee Library” as a result of wartime paper shortages.
These issues are packed in a different way than usual because of the size of many issues and the quantity of the issues.
They are packed in years.
Normally the packs are individual, with these issues you have to download first all numbered packs into the same folder
and after that just start with unpacking the 1st one and the rest will be unpacked automatically.
I use a Windows based desktop and the packs are made with WinRAR, i don’t know how it works
with other systems and programs.
