You have to wait a bit longer, no update this month as i mentioned at the beginning of this year in a comment at the homepage. And for “those toddler comics” as you call them, i know many people like these, so yes there will be toddler comics in the updates always, not everyone likes the same comics and i never know what comics will be in the updates because i never know when and which comics i find/get. You don’t have to be thankfull for what you get for free but perhaps some more respect for other comics than you prefer will be more appropriate i think.

boutje777 you and this site is totally respected and you are correct we get for free all your hard work and due diligence on our behalf and i agree cater to everyone not just some peoples view of what they like.
The memories and nostalgia i have experienced due to your hard work and i would like to personally thank you for that

Well said boutje777 – There are always those who just take take take and never give a thought for the time and effort of running a site like this. I for one am very appreciative of the work you’ve done in helping me reconnect with the comics of my youth. Glad to hear you’re still ok and healthy in light of the global mess.

I agree. There are certainly comics on the site that I have no interest in, but I do not begrudge them being there. Somebody is bound to find them nice to have. Personally I will be quite happy if there are updates for a bit. The last few were a bit much for my system. Going from an empty mailbox when I go to bed to one with several hundred in it when I wake up is a bit unnerving.

Thanks for this astonishing site – there is just so much content to remind me of earlier days, and I have only read a fraction of my preferred niche. The bit that bothers me is that the issues that I bought and remember vividly from 30 odd years ago have not appeared yet – long since thrown away by me. Must say something about my choices as a kid! Keep up the good work Boutje – thanks to you and those that held on to their copies!

I’m a fan of Rat-Trap, so it’s great to be able to fill in so many of the gaps in one go. The current copy of 16 December 1972 includes the first page of the strip twice and then omits the second (p11 IIRC) so it would be nice to see a fixed version of that too.

Many thanks for all your hard work in bringing these titles to us. I am really enjoying reliving my boyhood again. Such a pity that we cannot enjoy those old D C Thompson titles but thank you once again for the nostalgia

I am collection old british annuals ( actual copies) and i would love to know when the bash street kids first appear ( the year of the annual ) and the last annual since i did not see one on sale before christmas , now i don’t want scans i know their lawyers got a bit tasty i just want infomation on how many there is , i have googled , duckduckgo’d and wikipedia it but it seems this knowledge is a prized secret, even searching ebay for issues is hard work since they seem to throw totally random annuals onto the page , i mean i ask for bash street kids and see 2000ad annuals ( which is nice) but it makes it near impossible to find what i want
thanks in advance

Given that the strip first appeared in Beano in early 1954, under the title When the Bell Rings, I should think the earliest annual would be the 1955 one

I Actually think it was 1979 ish, i am not sure if they was made every other year at first , its very confusing trying to find out , ebay putting what ever it wants into the search engine you specifically asked for does not help, looking for starlord comics for instant gives you the marvel collection , even if you add fleetway and IPC to the search title , its extreamly frustrating

First Annual/Book they appear as When the bell rings in 1956, and from 1959 further as Bash Street Kids.
