Hanna Barbera’s Fun Time was a weekly title from Williams Publishing (who also published Tarzan, amongst other titles) featuring the adventures of various characters from the Hanna Barbera cartoons, including Yogi Bear (who had previously featured in his own title), Wally Gator, Huckleberry Hound and the Flintstones. Top Cat also appeared, under the name ‘Boss Cat’, which his cartoon had been renamed in the UK. Some of the humour now seems mildly racist, but it seems unlikely any kids in Britain in 1972 would have been aware of or concerned by that.
