This is interesting! As an Indonesian, I know Bobo is initially a Dutch magazine (the Indonesian version eventually grew into its own identity while the Dutch version remains released as Bobo Junior), but I never knew Bobo got released in UK too.

Thanks, i am Dutch and was surprised it was released in the UK also. Although I am not sure what the original is because i found out that the 1st Dutch versions were translated from the English versions and in 1975 it got their own editors, so that would mean the English version was 1st.

I remember my mother buying me the BOBO BUNNY paper in the late 60’s early 70’s. Happy memories

I was given the Bobo Bunny annual 1975, by my aunty either for Christmas or Birthday, aged 2-3years. I still own it but outside of this book, I’d never heard nor read Bobo Bunny! Today I searched to see what happened to this character.. the annual still makes me smile, when I look through it. I wonder why it never became a tv cartoon in UK?
